METAIRIE, La. (WVUE) – A two-alarm fire damaged two houses Monday night (March 23) in Metairie, Jefferson Parish fire officials said.
Three people escaped without injury from the initial house that caught fire around 8:14 p.m. in the 1200 block of Homestead Avenue. A neighboring house also received some fire damage, prompting a second alarm to be sounded at 8:22 p.m.
