Celina’s dining scene just got a taste of the islands. Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food is now open at 3505 South Preston Road in Celina, bringing its signature Hawaiian plate lunches to a fast-growing corridor along Preston Road.
The opening marks another North Texas expansion for the brand, as more national concepts continue to land in Celina alongside the city’s rapid residential and retail growth.
A Menu Rooted In Hawaiian Plate Lunch Tradition
Mo’ Bettahs was founded by brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack, who grew up on Oahu and built the concept around traditional Hawaiian plate lunches.
The menu centers on a simple format:
- A choice of protein, such as kalua pig, pulehu chicken or steak teriyaki
- Two scoops of white rice
- A side of macaroni salad
The style reflects everyday meals commonly served in Hawaii, rather than a fusion approach…
