A major children’s hospital in Nebraska has launched a new facility dedicated to supporting young people facing mental health challenges.
Children’s Nebraska, the largest children’s hospital in the state, recently opened a youth-focused behavioral health center on its Omaha campus. The facility is designed to provide a broad range of mental health services for children and young adults under the age of 21.
Hospital officials say the center is the first in Nebraska to offer walk-in behavioral health services for people age 20 and younger. It is also among a small number of facilities nationwide that bring multiple levels of youth mental health care together on a single campus…
