That was up from $3.095 a week earlier and far above the $2.463 average from a month ago. Even so, there are still a few smart ways to keep more money in your pocket.

AAA also tracks Louisiana prices, so checking both before a fill-up can help you spot a better option without much work.
Skip Premium Unless Your Car Requires It
