Aurora considers water restrictions, and officials say enforcement will be stricter than ever

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — As drought conditions continue across Colorado, Aurora could soon join other metro-area cities in implementing water restrictions.

Aurora Water is asking the city council to approve a Stage 1 water shortage response, citing what officials describe as a “dire situation.” The proposal is expected to go before council members on April 6.
