Two juveniles were arrested after officers found them in a stolen Kia Optima near NE Stapleton Rd and E Fourth Plain Blvd in Vancouver last weekend. The vehicle had been reported stolen less than an hour earlier. After a brief follow through nearby streets, officers stopped the car in a grocery store parking lot and detained both without incident. Damage to the steering column and a screwdriver used in the theft were found inside. Both juveniles were booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center, and the driver also faced an outstanding Assault II warrant.
