“Aquaman” star Jason Momoa was one of the thousands forced out of their homes as heavy rains across the islands of Hawaii caused some of the worst flooding seen there in 20 years.

In an Instagram stories post, the actor shared that he and his family were on Oahu’s North Shore when their power went out. Momoa was emotional as he described what was going on in his home state, “We’re safe now, but there’s a lot of people who aren’t, so sending all our love.”

Momoa and his girlfriend, actress Adria Arjona, also shared a video of them working to distribute food donated by local restaurant Zippy’s over the weekend. He wrote, “We spent time on the west side, just trying to show love, bring some food, and remind our community that we see you, we stand with you, and you’re not alone. That’s what aloha is. It’s showing up for each other when it matters most.”…
