BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Two people were arrested in west Bakersfield for allegedly buying alcohol for those underage during a statewide operation.
Police said on March 14th, 2026, Bakersfield Police Department VICE detectives, in partnership with California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), participated in a Statewide Shoulder Tap operation which targets adults who purchase alcohol for persons under the age of 21.
The release said, “This statewide enforcement operation is designed to create awareness about the dangers of underage drinking throughout California and help keep communities safe.”…
