Guns, drugs seized during police operation targeting ‘problem spots’ in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Guns and drugs were reportedly seized during a police operation last week targeting “problem spots” in Charlotte.

The operation took place Friday night, March 20, targeting areas in the Hickory Grove, North Tryon, and University City divisions. Police said they focused on several “problem spots” in those service areas, including Sugar Creek Road and University City Boulevard.
