CLEVELAND — A 77-year-old Cleveland church leader is recovering in the hospital after being assaulted while intervening in a dispute outside his church, family members and police said.
The attack occurred Sunday afternoon at Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church in Glenville, shortly after services had ended. Members were still inside when the violence unfolded.
