KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knox County chancellor on Tuesday said he’d appoint an advocate to represent the best interests of two children caught in the middle of a court fight over their mother’s 2023 death and their father’s alleged role in that death.
Chancellor John Weaver, after a hearing Tuesday morning, said he would pick the guardian ad litem to advise on the children’s behalf and would announce that in an order he planned to issue.
