KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — In honor of National Tamale Day, Living East Tennessee took the celebration on the road, heading to one of Knoxville’s longtime local favorites, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant.
Serving the community since 1992, Monterrey has built a reputation as a go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine and warm hospitality. To mark the occasion, our very own Noemy Sanchez visited the North Knoxville location to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how their beloved tamales are made.
