Attorney for quadruple murder suspect files venue-change motion, pushes for Shelby County

LAKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) – Austin Drummond, accused in the quadruple murder of a Lake County family, returned to court on Tuesday morning.

Drummond’s defense attorney, Bryan Huffman, has filed a motion for a change of venue.

“What we’re looking at right now is probably Shelby County,” said Huffman.

Huffman said he wants to make sure a fair and impartial jury is selected and doesn’t think that is possible in Lake or Dyer Counties…
