Illegal immigrant convicted of rape in Maryland arrested in Baldwin County, court records say

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – Court records say an illegal immigrant who was convicted of second-degree rape in Maryland was arrested in Baldwin County.

Court documents said Hector Danilo Saldivar-Orellana was pulled over on March 13 by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and admitted to being a national of Honduras.

A records check showed that Saldivar-Orellana was convicted of second-degree rape in Baltimore County, Maryland in 2010 and was deported to Honduras that same year, according to the federal complaint.

Court records said there were no filings to allow Saldivar-Orellana to return to the United States at the time of his arrest on March 13…
