ATLANTIC BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Atlantic Beach town leaders are set to meet behind closed doors in a virtual session on Tuesday evening to discuss the town manager’s contract, following months of turmoil that have left the Atlantic Beach Police Department without any officers.
The special closed session virtual meeting is scheduled to discuss a settlement with Town Manager Adrian Jones. The meeting comes after what the town’s Mayor Pro Tem has described as a whirlwind of controversy since Jones was hired last summer, including a wave of resignations and firings.
