We seldom go to the town squares any more, unless we have visitors in town.
We had visitors in town this past week, so we went to the St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Big mistake. The drinking, shameful outfits, profane language and overall rude behavior was embarrassing, particularly because we had out-of-town guests.
Our standards really seem to be deteriorating at the town squares…
