PALM CITY, Fla. – The Florida State men’s golf team is in fourth place after two rounds of play at the Valspar Collegiate, which is being held at the Floridian Golf Club. The Seminoles finished two rounds at 19-under, 549 and ahead of six ranked teams.
In perfect weather conditions, the Seminoles found momentum early to start the tournament, carding 12 birdies on the front nine and eight on the back to finish the first round at 15-under, 269. FSU added a round of 4-under, 280 in the second and remain ahead of No. 6 Arkansas by one stroke and behind No. 4 Texas by one.
