TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two weeks into the 150-day construction phase that closed the Monroe Street bridge, businesses like Beautiful Blooms by Jen are feeling the impact.
“No one’s even driving by,” said Jen Linehan, owner of Beautiful Blooms by Jen. “With that Monroe Street closure happening, it’s definitely kinda been like COVID, it’s like eerily quiet in downtown Sylvania, so we are all just trying to stay positive and kind of switch gears.”
