AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The City of Amarillo Office of Emergency Management, in collaboration with local first responders, is participating this week in joint hazardous materials and law enforcement training exercises with the 6th Texas Civil Support Team.
The training is meant to strengthen partnerships among local, state and federal agencies and improve their ability to respond to hazardous materials incidents that go beyond local resources.
