City of San Antonio wants residents’ input for renaming César E. Chávez Boulevard

SAN ANTONIO — The City of San Antonio wants your input to help rename César E. Chávez Boulevard.

The street is being renamed due to allegations of sexual abuse involving the late civil rights leader Chavez.

Starting Monday, residents will have the opportunity to participate in a survey to share their thoughts as to what to name the street between Southwest 36th Street and South Hackberry Street. Any San Antonian may participate, but the city particularly wants the opinion of those who live along the street…
