AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County Board of Education voted on a name for the Richmond County College and Career Academy at a meeting Tuesday.
T.W. Josey High School College and Career Academy is the new name, recommended by the naming committee and approved by the board.
The decision comes after community members raised concerns about preserving T.W. Josey’s name and history.
The mascot is still the Eagles, and the colors are Kelly green, gold and white…
