CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga city council is considering a proposal that would allow CARTA to ‘boot’ vehicles that have at least 3 parking tickets that have gone unpaid for at least two months.
The booting would happen in places where CARTA has enforcement authority. That includes public streets, parking lots, and parking garages.
Private companies who want to be licensed in the city would have to opt-in and follow the same rules.
