Amarok announces new headquarters in BullStreet District

Three years ago, a new strategic plan for South Carolina was announced, with intentions to prioritize new sectors, including as headquarters. This morning, in alignment with that plan, Amarok announced its new headquarters would be in the growing BullStreet District.

Since it first began calling Columbia home in 1973, Amarok has grown from a guard dog rental company to a leading perimeter security provider.

“We are really excited about this investment,” said Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickennman. “We’re talking about a $70 million headquarters right here, over 300 employees located in the heart of Bull Street. Bull Street started off as 181 acres of redevelopment, but we always envisioned this to be a place where you could live, work, be entertained and have a lifestyle, and this is a key piece of that,” the Mayor said.

Amarok CEO Mark Wesley echoed his sentiment, saying, “We are super excited to join the BullStreet district. The sense of community and vibrant atmosphere here is the perfect match for our company, which has a high-energy, innovative culture itself.”…
