Recently released minutes from the Louisville Arena Authority’s Jan. 26, 2026, meeting summarized the KFC Yum Center’s 2025 calendar year, during which the 15-year-old arena hosted 113 events.
That total included nine sold-out concerts, two venue-record-breaking comedy shows and the first LOVB Finals in April. Not counting Univ. of Louisville events held at the arena, KFC Yum Center hosted 792,000 guests with $16.7M in gross ticket sales.
The Arena Authority announced a $100M renovation project to roll out over five years, while the venue’s largest-ever capital project, a replacement of its roof, commenced. The Authority also conducted a market study in the fall of 2025 and hired Forward Associates to conduct the arena’s first long-term planning project since it opened in 2010.
