NC courts looks to stop scam telling residents that traffic tickets are defaulted

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — If you have received a notice that your parking or toll ticket has defaulted, confirm before taking action because it could be a scam.

According to Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman, a great deal of people have received a text message of an image faking as a notice of an outstanding parking violation or toll violation.
