CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Residents living near the former Transamerica building site are speaking out following the latest city council discussion about what could be built on the property.
It has been nearly six years since the building was abandoned, and for neighbors in the area, the uncertainty has been ongoing. Many say repeated discussions about redevelopment have led to growing frustration, especially as plans continue to change.
