The Popular ‘Whoop Stop’ Sells Winning $25K Texas Lottery Ticket

On State Highway 21, just east of the Highway 290 intersection, you’ll find the ‘Whoop Stop’ convenience store. Inside and out, the shop features tributes and memorabilia honoring Texas A&M. The Aggie bonfire display complete with a t.u. frat house topper has caused many a motorist to do a double-take when passing by.

The ‘Whoop Stop’ sold a winning Texas Lottery Cash Five ticket for the drawing on Monday, March 23. Someone purchased a quick pick ticket with the numbers 5-7-9-11-26, exactly matching the winning numbers drawn later that night. That’s worth a $25,000 payout.

A second winning ticket was also sold at the Bull Stop convenience store in Slaton, Texas. Somewhat ironic, don’t you think? A winning ticket…..
