The Leader newspaper and website, covering the communities of The Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest and North Houston, has announced its closure.
The outlet’s editor, Stephanie Thomas, announcing the closure Monday on the newspaper’s website. The Saturday edition will be the final print product, and the website and social media pages will not be updated after April 1.
