ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We are all about the summer heat but a change is coming soon that will make conditions windy as the week winds down in New Mexico.
The heat high is now centered over New Mexico’s bootheel. By the middle afternoon, it will shift at least a little further over to the east, to between the bootheel and over El Paso.
That will lead to above-average temperatures that will break records all over New Mexico and the Southwest. Albuquerque is set to hit 90 degrees, which will definitely break the record set in 2012…
