BOISE, Idaho — Boise’s popular trail system is in solid spring shape this week, with crews focusing on maintenance in the foothills and a downhill biking trail scheduled to open soon, according to a Tuesday update from Ridge to Rivers.
In a Facebook post, Ridge to Rivers said trails “all the way up to the Stack Rock area remain in great shape,” with users finding mostly open trail but lingering snow patches from north of Stack Rock Trail. Officials reminded hikers and cyclists that conditions can change quickly in early springtime.
Trail crews are performing spring maintenance this week on routes in the Military Reserve area and on the Three Bears Trail, which a popular trail for hikers.
