On March 19, 2026, deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office conducted a retail theft mission at the Oak Grove Fred Meyer on SE McLoughlin Boulevard, resulting in four arrests and the clearing of outstanding warrants. Charges included Theft III, Criminal Trespass I, and Unlawful Possession of a Theft Device. One suspect was banned for life from all Fred Meyer stores, and three had warrants for offenses such as Theft II, Theft III, and possession of methamphetamine. The mission was partly funded by the Organized Retail Theft Grant Program through the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission.
