PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted on a theft by deception charge stemming from a 2022 incident.
Authorities identified the suspect as Fay Ann Anderson, 54, whose current whereabouts are unknown. Police said she may be in the Muskegon County area of Michigan.
According to the Phillipsburg Police Department, Anderson is accused of obtaining money from a victim by creating or reinforcing a false impression that the victim would receive $20,000 in federal funds in exchange for paying a $3,000 processing fee…
