Vaughan’s episode is scheduled to air Thursday, March 26. She will compete against a Brooklyn man, Jeff Bienstock, and dominant New Jersey resident Jamie Ding, a nine-day champion.
“I was pretty nervous,” Vaughan told Newsday. “People say to me, well you’re on the radio every day, so to you this is probably no big deal. I don’t really agree with that. On the radio you don’t have to worry about what you look like.”
