CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston Police officers rescued a stranded dog from an old dock in Nowell Creek on Sunday afternoon.
Officer French with the department’s Harbor Patrol and Animal Control Officer Bayles navigated hazardous conditions and a rising tide to reach the pup, officials said.
The officers located the frightened dog on the deteriorating dock, secured her, and brought her safely back to shore.
