CASCADE TOWNSHIP, MI — The Michigan Strategic Fund on Tuesday approved up to $915,000 in tax-exempt bonds to support expanded manufacturing operations for HVAC maker Trane, whose air-cooled chillers are used by data centers and other businesses.
The bonds are being issued to Kraft Avenue Properties, which is leasing a building at 5824 Kraft Ave. SE to Trane, according to a memo from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The funds will be used to build a tunnel connecting that facility and a recently purchased property at 5784 Kraft Ave. SE.
