Michelin Adds Five New Bay Area Restaurants to the California Guide

Five Bay Area restaurants joined the Michelin Guide on Wednesday, March 25, as the tire company announced 12 new additions total to its California selections.

Michelin inspectors singled out four San Francisco restaurants: British pub Dingles Public House; live-fire French restaurant La Cigale; Filipino fine dining restaurant Naides; and Wolfsbane, led by chef Rupert Blease. Menlo Park’s Yeobo, Darling, from chefs Meichih and Michael Kim, was also added to the guide.

Dingles Public House burst onto the San Francisco dining scene in November 2025, led by husband-and-wife team George and Anissa Dingle. Their ode to British pub food serves classics like beef and Guinness pie, Scotch eggs, and a proper Sunday roast on the weekend. It joins a crop of British restaurants that have opened across the U.S. over the last year. Chef Joseph Magidow leads La Cigale, serving Occitan cuisine from southern France through a live-fire lens.
