SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — The Southaven mother accused in the death of her special-needs daughter appeared in court Wednesday.
Cynthia Clemons, 40, is charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult and tampering with evidence. Law enforcement officers are waiting for autopsy results to determine if more charges will be filed against her.
