MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Ascension Saint Thomas announced Wednesday that it has received state approval to build a new freestanding emergency department in Murfreesboro.
The hospital system said that the $19 million facility will be part of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic’s medical development near the intersection of Lascassas Pike and East Pitts Lane.
In a post about the plans in January, Ascension Saint Thomas said that “in an emergency, every minute counts.”…
