Santa Barbara Island was hit by a magnitude 2.9 earthquake on Tuesday evening, according to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake was recorded on March 24, 2026, at around 6:22 p.m. PT. The quake’s epicenter was recorded about 32 kilometers northwest of Santa Barbara Island.
