(KRON) — A man who stole the wallet from a 74-year-old woman’s purse while she was grocery shopping in Daly City was sentenced for felony elder abuse on Tuesday, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office. Prosecutors said three accomplices distracted the victim during the theft.
Ronald Bernal-Pacheco, 43, of Anaheim, pleaded no contest in the case on the condition of being sentenced to five months in county jail. He received 128 days of credit for time served.
