An East Toledo shooting following Toledo’s Independence Day fireworks display occurred after occupants of a car tossed fireworks toward the alleged gunman and some companions, a defense lawyer said in court Wednesday morning.
Reon Green, 17, of the 700 block of Euclid Avenue, entered not guilty pleas through lawyer Ronnie Wingate during arraignment in Lucas County Common Pleas Court before Judge Gary Cook. His case had been bound over from Lucas County Juvenile Court last month.
