For those who don’t know, Vallé Cucina Italiana, one of the original tenants of the Pike Creek Shopping Center at Limestone and Linden Hill roads, had humble beginnings.
It opened in August 1981 as Vallé Pizza, a small pizza and sandwich shop.
Founder Frank Reno, who had been in the transmission business, was looking to change careers. He wanted to operate a family-style restaurant, and, for a decade, the pizzeria with its casual food and video games in the storefront fit his needs…
