Lakota Elementary School principal found not guilty of assaulting student

SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — The principal of Lakota Elementary School was acquitted of assault after a physical confrontation with a student last year that was caught on video.

A Sandusky County jury found Dana Ward, 56, not guilty on Tuesday, according to court records. The district told WTOL 11 that Ward returned to work on Wednesday.
