COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus’ Major League Volleyball team is under new ownership.
Ohio’s only professional women’s sports team, the Columbus Fury, announced Wednesday that the team has been acquired by Andrea Mitchell and Andy Sandler. The married couple purchased the franchise from the Pro Volleyball Federation, which included founding partner Joe Burrow and his family.
Burrow and his parents, Jimmy and Robin, were announced as part of the Fury’s ownership in Nov. 2023 before the inaugural season began in 2024.
