Parents alarmed by criminal past of teacher, coach at Cedar Rapids school

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids school is responding to concerns about a staff member who previously faced criminal charges of having sex with an underage student, even though that charge was later reduced as part of a plea deal.

Noah Padilla is a substitute teacher who has worked at Taft Middle School. He also coaches Jefferson wrestling.
