AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials said Wednesday that the structural integrity of a bridge over Interstate 35 in Downtown Austin “was not compromised” after the bridge was struck by an 18-wheeler Tuesday evening.
KVUE crews saw no visible damage on the 11th Street Bridge on Wednesday morning, and traffic was flowing normally after it was temporarily closed Tuesday night when a semi-truck got stuck underneath.
