(Council Bluffs) — Council Bluffs authorities say a death investigation is underway after a body was discovered Monday afternoon.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says shortly after 2 p.m., officers were dispatched to the west side of Indian Creek, south of the 1700 block of Veteran’s Memorial Highway, for a report of a dead body. Authorities say the deceased male was located by a city public works employee who was mowing the creek bank.
