But the industry has shrunk as it deals with offshoring and computer printing. So what advantages can a screen printer find? How about quick delivery and convenience? That’s an advantage Eugene’s Hot Tees has found. The company will do standard custom prints from its warehouse. However, it will also head to events like races or high school sports tournaments, where it can customize shirts with last names, jersey numbers and plenty more. I headed to Hot Tees’ facility in West Eugene to talk with operations director Max Vanderwyst about how the company does its printing, both from its shop and on the road.
