The remains of Maj. Alex Klinner are scheduled to return to Birmingham later this month, with an on-base ceremony planned to mark the dignified transfer.
The 117th Air Refueling Wing and the 99th Air Refueling Squadron will hold the ceremony March 28, 2026. The event will not be open to the public.
