Broward deputies hunt down driver who left pedestrian to die after striking her

Broward Sheriff’s deputies are hunting down a driver they say ran over a woman walking across a street and left her to die Monday. An up-to-$5,000 reward is being offered for community tips that lead to an arrest.

Sometime before 6:45 a.m., Mishell Laurine Warner, whose age was not released, was walking across West Hallandale Beach Boulevard near Barry Road, the sheriff’s office said. She was not in a designated crosswalk when a car struck her.

Authorities did not have a description of what the vehicle looked like or who was possibly behind the wheel…
